“What’s the best PlayStation 3 soundtrack?”
Welcome back to Soundtrack Showdown! Last week, our Xbox 360 poll actually brought in a tie… the second tie since we started this event! So congratulations to both Eternal Sonata AND Halo 3! We’ll sort out exactly what to do with ties when we get to the end of this 20-week event.
Now on with this week’s event!
You can visit the main event page here for more information but in short, we’re looking for nominations from you today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday) for the best PlayStation 3 soundtrack! All nominations received will appear in a poll open from Wednesday through Saturday when you’ll be able to vote for the best PlayStation 3 soundtrack. We’ll determine the winner on Sunday!
Reminders
-Nominations can be left in comments on this blog or on Twitter, just tag @thewellredmage and/or use #soundtrackshowdown.
-Please keep it to ONE nomination per person but if your first choice is already taken then feel free to nominate a different soundtrack.
-If you name more than one soundtrack, I’ll have to ruin your day and ask you to choose! 
-We’re looking for exclusives, not ports, within reason. You can mention timed exclusives provided they were originally on the PlayStation 3.
Hopefully we can get away without doing another tie, for cryin’ out loud! The PS3 was a regular juggernaut of games but as we get into modernity, multiplat seems to become a bigger and bigger issue. Good luck choosing your nominations!

Solid shout out right there but shucks howdy it has to be a PS3 exclusive as per the rules, sorry! Any other you can think of?
Ah, I forgot it was on Xbox 360 too. D’oh! I only ever played the PS3 version. It was the reason I grabbed a PS3, in fact.
Right, in that case, this is an odd one, but I’m sucker for the sometimes swashbucklin’ feel of it: Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty.
Right on! I also thought that XIII was PS3 only, since that’s what I played it on too 🙂
Eternal Sonata! I’m glad to see the composer of the Baten Kaitos soundtrack get some due recognition.
