Machiavellian monster tyrannizes quaint hamlet, also happens to be a goose. A golden egg in the “animals being a-holes” indie genre, Untitled Goose Game has been embraced by an online community of gamers coincidentally crowded with loudmouths and trolls. This post-modern adventure defies any analogy of reason, purpose, or principle, presenting anarchic checklists for the wanton waterfowl-turned-terrorist to complete. Its item-based puzzles & low-poly art style are simple yet elegant, with an adaptive soundtrack that grabs you by Debussy. Don’t forget to attempt co-op at some point! Nothing is greater than pilfering and exasperating villagers with a fellow fowl by one’s side. Honk if you like seeing smaller, creative games like this one succeed.
