B-movie horror icons masticate community members to beach party music and haunting theremin. With its retro Scooby-Doo-like vibes, playful references to spooky schlock of yesteryore, and assortment of squirtguns, soda cans, pandora’s boxes, experimental potions, silverware, and other zombie apocalypse essentials, Zombies Ate My Neighbors (or ZAMN for short) is a top-down run and gun paradise for co-op partners. Characteristic LucasArts humor is on full display (there’s even a cameo by George Lucas himself). This is one of my favorite horror games ever! Don’t forget the password: BCDF. That will land you on level zero, the bonus stage, Day of the Tentacle and set you up for a smoother, easier, better-equipped playthrough from start to final showdown against the nefarious Doctor Tongue!
