“TWRM on Twitch: a Backlog Adventure!”

The time has come… I, the Well-Red Mage, am now streaming live on Twitch!
I accept this new content responsibility in the interest of engaging with an audience and community in a completely new way. Writing and receiving comments is fun. Twitter has its moments. Podcasting is a blast. Even Discord gets there. But none of those have the sense of immediacy and intimacy that streaming has. Intimacy? Don’t get too excited. I just mean that I feel like I can speak to you face to face, despite the fact that many of us are separated by continents and oceans.
Currently, I stream thrice a week. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 4:00 pm Central time and each stream lasts for about four hours, if you can’t make it right away. I get that it’s an earlier time slot but hey we could share dinner together by candlelight and I maintain a relaxing atmosphere to help destress in the early evening.
I’m currently playing games like Stardew Valley and Sim City 2000. In the former, we’re building a Hawaiian-themed farm with Ula’ula as my playable character (Hawaiian for “red”) and in the latter, we’re recreating the Kingdom of Zeal from Chrono Trigger. Wednesday is a bit more of a wild card since I just purchased an Elgato capture card but we’re likely going to do a mix of some Rogue Legacy and possibly the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters.
Here’s my running list of games I plan to play (eventually)!

Some old favorites but many are games I’ve either never played or never completed!
So come enjoy a chill backlog stream and say hi in the chats. I talk a lot and I sound less angry than I do on Twitter. I promise.
I am, however, also learning. I’m a newbie streamer and that’s okay, everybody starts somewhere! But that means I need you and your expertise and your help to get this train a-rolling. See you there?
