That’s a tough one with so many great games on the horizon but at the moment I’d have to say No Man’s Sky. It is a one of a kind game that completely appeals to my sci-fi side. I can’t wait to explore new planets and just going from one awe-inspiring thing to the next. Close runner-ups are Horizon Zero Dawn and Final Fantasy XV.

I don’t know what this game is, I don’t know why I want it, but Kojima is the savior of games for no reason at all. Death Stranding is my most anticipated game because your weapons will be ropes and sticks.

Starcraft: Ghost. Oh that was cancelled? Never mind. Silent Hills, then.

FF3-NES-Summoner2 The Green Screen Mage

Sonic Boom for the 3DS!!!!!!!!!!!!! No… Not that. Not ever that. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you have not seen any of the gameplay footage from that, then go now and check it out. It looks gorgeous and the new gameplay mechanics look so cool. Also, Pokémon Sun and Moon and Gears of War 4. Both games I want to get my hands on.

The Last Guardian because Shadow of the Colossus made a lasting impression on me. It was so cinematic and I appreciate cinematography because I took video production classes in the past. So I anticipate that Last Guardian will have that same level of artfulness.

Untitled2 The Well-Red Mage

Final Fantasy XII: the Zodiac Age made my millennium when it was announced. It represents the Final Fantasy game that I personally believe was most in need of a remaster/remake since it can only be played on the PS2. What’s up with that? It’s got one of the most interesting and different RPG battle systems, which I never got tired of while playing, that could use just a little more spit n’ polish. I’m more excited for it than FFXV, which has yet to sell itself to me. Best of all, though, I wrote a post not longer ago entitled “Top 5 FF’s worthy of HD” which requested, nay, demanded that FFXII be the next, needed Final Fantasy remaster. Wishes do come true.final-fantasy-xii-zodiac-age-trailer

  1. Sadly, all have now come out, & according to info coming in, all haven’t gone down too well (except Last Guardian, Zelda: B.O.T.W & Horizon which are Ace!!!!)
My most anticipated game will be: The Full Version of FF7 Remake!!! (which I Know will happen down the line at some point, probs GOTY edition, not that I’ll be able to buy it *Sobs*) KH3… *Sobs again*

  2. Kingdom Hearts III. I’m ready to end the era once and for all. II was excellent and it’s been a long time, but I’m sure that 3 is up to the challenge of being an awesome title!

  3. Excuse me, Black Humor Mage. You forgot that one of Naked Norman Reedus’ weapons will be his vanishing mechanoumbilical fetus. Norman Reedus’ Invisible Fetus…

Also, I’d have to say that my most anticipated game would have to be Mass Effect Andromeda. I can’t wait for that to come out. No Man’s Sky takes a very close second.

  4. E3 2016 revealed a number of games to get hyped over, and my number one most anticipated game is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo pretty much mostly showed that game, but it was THE game to show. There’s plenty to be excited for including all the games you all listed!

  5. Has to be The Last Guardian, this game has been in development for so long, we never thought it’d ever see the light of day. Sooo looking forward to this one!

  6. Let’s see. I am Setsuna, FFXII, Persona 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Last Guardian, Pokemon Sun & Moon, and uh, Civ 6 . RIP Wallet.

          1. He can! I think it’s priced at USD 40? I had hoped it would cheaper, but at least is not a full 60 retail game. And its not coming out on vita 🙁

  7. I’m still sore about SE ditching the portable version of 12 😛 But I’m super hyped for 15 so it’s okay 🙂

      1. I think they may be! After replaying Shadow of the Colossus recently – and playing ICO for the first time – I am definitely excited for Last Guardian.

As for Zelda, if they can get the balance right of exploration in a huge overworld with traps and puzzles in dungeons, then this should be classic Zelda.

        1. Yes! Ico is such a hidden gem. I’m glad it’s being talked about more. And the emphasis on returning to series roots in Breath of the Wild is so enticing to me!
